Ok, here’s the thing--I spent $245 for the Terraflex budget boost kit ($39 of that was s & h charges and tax--thank you Desert Rat :-P) only to find out that OTT lifts are a bad thing. So the kit went on the shelf. Then, the other day I was on Rusty’s website and noticed .75" front spacers for $20; so I figured what the heck and ordered them--$32 after shipping. After installing them, I was really surprised at how much lift they provided (at least an inch, but I didn’t take any measurements). I thought about my terraflex lift gathering dust, so why not try out the 2" spacers and see how it looks. The results speak for themselves! Check out the before and after shots. At any rate it cost me around $300 to figure out I only needed $100 bucks worth of parts to get the left I wanted, so I'm passing this info on, hopefully its worth something to someone :-)

looks good!!!! kinda like the pre-lowered kj's, I was just wonderin if maybe you could take some pics of it when its level (your driveway slopes a little bit) just to see how much higher, if any, the back is compared to the front!!!!

I think it might be 1" or so higher in the back but it looks pretty level to me, also the lift looks alot more impressive in person.

That is one awesome looking place. Those mountains in the background are just amazing!

Good job Universeman! You could do a small clevis lift on the front and gain some more lift if you do not like that look. I like for my jeep to be higher in the rear. That way when its loaded down with people is doesnt look stupid.

Ya I really love being so close to the mountains, the place I'm headed up to today is like 5 minutes away and Lincoln National Forrest is like in my back yard so I can be compleatly L.O.S.T. in the forrest and my GPS says we're only 25 miles from my house :-)
