Good day for pics. Just picked these up. Blasted down the Pinch weld today while it was nice and it generated 100% clearance. I do have a slight rubbing at nearly full lock on the front fog light area. However, I plan to give myself a slight Clevis lift when installing my Control Arms soon. This should give enough cleareance to eliminate the small rubbing. If not I'll just do more trimming :) tehee. Wow, the pinch weld was easy to smack down. I cut the plastic with my razor blade box cutter and then used a 6 pound sledge to bend it.

That looks great! Honestly, I kinda think it resembles the XJs with that brush guard.

Have not tried it yet. However, I do believe I will have some major rubbing but we will have to see.

Hey Phil,

Looks good. Hows it feel out on the road, riding and power wise? I like the way the tires now sit out at the edge of the fender. Sooner or later thats the way I will have mine.

Heya Tom. Nice to talk to you again. Got anymore of that NiteShade spray??? Laugh. Anywho the power is definitley lowered because the wheels themselves are very heavy. The feel on the road is a little more rigid with these tires with a little more road noise. However, it sounds nice to me and I don't mind the ride. I also run them at 40 pounds of air. If I bring it down it may feel a lot smoother haha.

Yours will look nice with the ARB you have.

I was going to run them low, but I thought it would significantly decrease gas mileage and hinder steering. I'm going to test it though soon. Running at 40 does make it a pretty rough ride....lol

Your kj looks amazing with the wheels and tires! So how has the rubbing issues been for daily driving?

Wow. I like the stance on that. I am looking to get some spacers so I get my stance alittle wider. I just need to get the a arms from rusty so I know that Ball Joints won't fail.

Once you get some 'wheeling under your belt with that wheel/tire combo, let us know how much rubbing you get/how much trimming you have to do. I really like the look and may consider that for the next set of wheels/tires.
