Where was this from? Camp Jeep 2004 ---> Virginia? Just wondering cause it looks like the same river crossing that Camp Jeep 2004 had on one of their trails. ![]() |

How was it at Rocky? I went to Apex and I was the only KJ there other than the event one. ![]() I've heard Rocky is basically mud mud mud. Are there many trails a KJ can do there? I may go to both next year. |

Rocky was amazing, my first year and I am now hooked in a big way. Rocky has abit of everything which is nice and there is a few trails a stock KJ can do. But yes there is alot of mud as well hehe. There was 5 KJ's in all, 2 that were stock (mine included) and we definatly proved our worth out there. Next year a couple of us will be going both weekends in Rocky so expect to see a few KJ's at this one. How was Apex? We thought about maybe trying to hit that one as well, funds pending of course lol. I will have some more pics soon of Rocky |

Apex was a blast. the scenery is awesome out there and there's a really good mix of terrain. Lots of hill climbs on loose rocks, some tight forest sections, a bit of mud and some great views. I had opted for the easy trail on the Saturday but no one else signed up, so I went on Quad instead. The skidplates took a bashing but I had no issues keeping up with the others (in fact it climbed some of the hills better than some of the Wranglers did). The clanging of the skidplates was almost non-stop though. I'd highly recommend getting full skids if you go there. I have the All-J superskid and boulderbars and they got a good work out. ![]() pics here: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=1377 |
