That rhino/Line X stuff looks great! How much did that cost you?? Was your lower half painted or plastic before the spray on? does it even matter?

from what i hear it dosent stick well to the grey plastic flares, but it sticks to the painted flares just fine after u scuff them with sandpaper?

Yeah it's Line-X with UV protection...,
If you have them use the Bulldog Primer it sticks to plastic and is able to bend and move without peeling.
It is also way better than Rhino Lining...
Prices vary from 500-1000 depending on how you do it.

I'm getting some of those tires next time around. Those tires look nice along with the Line X.

Dang that liner turned out really good. I am in the market for some MOABs and MT/Rs but they are hard to come by up here.

Yeah I thought about getting new rims, but the next Item on my to do list is an ARB BullBar... Hopefully by Xmas...
If I do get new rims they'll probably be Mickey Thompson Classic Lock Wheels, or possibly something in Black. We'll see

so were the things on the doors ( forgot what they are called for the moment) were they the chrome or body colored? were they easy to coat with the Line-X?

Okay, So All of the fender flares, rear bumber, and the door "bumpers" were all the original Gray Plastic. Like the front bumber is still.....
The roof rails were powder coated black... Just sanded down to smooth...

First I took off the fender flares, rear bumber and the roof rails and had them coated at Line-X. I believe they may have Scuffed them up a little before applying the primer.... Which was a bulldog primer that sticks to plactic etc....
After they were done being Line-Xed.
I put everything back on..... Including about 50-60 plastic rivots. I had to get all new rivots....Got them Online, along with a plactic rivot gun....

I was going to order new "Door bumpers" and have them line-Xed , and throw the others away...But new "door bumpers " were more expensive than getting the entire bottoms of my doors Line-Xed. Plus I had a lot of scratches from trees along the bottom... Not any more...... :D

Anymore Questions..... feel free to ask..

There is a great picture on my cardomain page of the GRAY Door "Bumpers" before the Line-X.......

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2661606

If anyone is going to get this done to their Liberty and If you don't like scars... :D
I suggest filling any deep scratches with a filler or something like Bondo.......
Line-X is a "Coater" not a "Filler"

I have a nasty scratch from a tree on my front driver fender... The Line-X made it look a lot better but there is still an indentation.
I was going to fill it with Bondo before I went, but I kinda like it there... I remember the exact tree and trail I was on when I see it....

Thanks, it does look MUCH better. That all black is awesome, but those taillights were pretty bad  At least you have come to your senses...they didn't match at all, and would be tacky anyway!

You might consider getting 05-06 taillights. The solid red and white (no amber) would look good on all black.

BTW did you see the pic I put on with the Moabs?

Yeah, I saw the pic... I'm not really a fan of the rubicon rims....
I have a lot more off-road stuff to put on before new rims anyway...
Like, ARB Bull Bar, Lockers, rock rails, etc.....

Any Suggestions for Rock Rails...
