Thanx for the compliments everyone. I'll try to take some pics of how they mount tomorrow. We bolted and welded the brakets to the frame and bolted to the pinchweld.

I can speak for alot of people (who weld) when I ask if you have any measurements on those... You should get some pics and come over to the Hobartwelders.com board and show those off in the 4x4 section or the projects section...

I'd really like to see the measurements though as I soooo could make those... and would... and hopefully will!!!

PM me dag nabbit!

hehe

Actually I have the Nerf bars installed so I'd just use the same mount points... but I'm more interested in the size of tubings you used and the guage.

Thanks!

looks like 2" square tube and 2" round tube, i'm guessing 1/8" wall

But my proportions are all missed up from looking at 10 ft long cars, not these long 14 footers

Very nice looking, and clean job as well, good choice with those round tubes instead of the blocky bars.

I used 1/4in on my 2x2. 1/8in would bend very easily. I wanted 3/16in but they didnt have any.. :)

More pics up in Fabrication section.

main bar is 2"x2" square tubing 11 gauge
Arm bars are 2"x1" rectangular tubing 11 gauge
step bar is 1 3/4" round tubing 1/4" thickness(i think)

Thats what my dad was using 220V. The best part was they cost around $130 in materials, but my dad told me steel prices were going up 15% locally.
