Me, my stepdad, my brother, and neice enjoyed some scenic trails in Tennessee earlier this month. Can't wait to go back! I have no idea why the "photographers" chopped off the front of my KJ. :evil:

I think these were taken at the top of trail 22 (maybe 16).

Sorry we didn't get any better action shots. This was our first time at Coal Creek and I wanted to get a good feel for the place. My brother in the TJ rode my bumper so much that we couldn't get a shot of him on any obstacles. By the time I grabbed the camera, he was already done.

These pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this place. I felt right at home in the KJ driving the "easy" and "moderate" rated trails. Of course, we had dry weather. After a good rain, I'm sure some of the moderate trails are pretty hairy. I will find more mud when I go back, maybe in June. :)

Yes, that's a Gripper 3028 suction mount holding my Panasonic PV-GS120 3CCD camcorder. The mount can hold up to 7 pounds of gear. It's great for getting that first-person, riding on the hood perspective. Mounted on the passenger seat inside window allows for good, steady front-seat views. With it on the roof, you can quickly spin your camcorder around to shoot the people behind you on the trail. The mount features a forged steel camera head that's adjustable on three axes. Very handy.

I also have a professional Panasonic AG-DVC80 video camera, but I only mount that on vehicles for the BIG jobs. Too expensive to risk damaging it. The widescreen lens alone cost me $500. I've had my DVC80 shooting from the roof of my at 75 mph, and it didn't budge. The Gripper is very reliable. I paid around $90 + shipping. Coal creek is a great place.been there plenty of times,16 and 22 both end up on the same trail.22 has a big hole just up from the pay station
it goes out to the left from the station.we go all the time . My daughter and her husband live in Knoxville and we go see the baby,I play while they visit.
