The thing I hate about mud pits with "puddled" water is that you never know how deep or sloppy they'll be. I've gotten my old Subaru Outback absolutely burried once in one of those, I thought I was doing great and then she just sunk like the Titanic into an void of muck! My friend's jacked up F-250 got stuck trying to pull me out, luckily he's a farmer and had big tractors ready to jerk both vehicles out ![]() |

Now you've got packed mud in the undercarriage. An old butter knife works well when chipping out all the caked on mud. LOL! (don't ask how I know...it involved a test drive in a Nissan Pathfiinder) |

(don't ask how I know...it involved a test drive in a Nissan Pathfiinder) I park it in the ditch so that a valley forms underneath the vehicle, then I get under there with a gardern hose and go to town. Works pretty well too. |
