new video the guys that were behind me threw on you tube.... not a lot but just a little of the real easy trail ride stuff.. no real big obstacles

http://youtube.com/watch?v=66GT9FGiiVQ

this was one of the best trips i've ever taken.. i can not believe a liberty is capaible of the stuff we did. i had no damage at all (besides a few scratches on skid's and rock rails but that's what they're there for :D ) Just a warning... theres a lot of pictures so bewere dial up'ers . there were only one other liberty there out of 115 jeeps... the trails were (from easiest to hardest) white, green, yellow, orange, blue, red i did the orange and yellow :) made a ton of believers out of the liberty.. but that may have been due to the tow i gave to the wrangler behind me in line.. or the other 3 rubicons that got pulled .. they had front and rear lockers.. and im allllll open and never had to get pulled :D enjoy.

loaded down before the trip

Temporary CB if you take off the top of the armrest it is a PERFECT spot to mount the CB.. screws from the top line right up with the holes in my mount.. lucky i guess

before we left...

in line for the orange trail.. there were about 25 jeeps in the line.... most in front of me (which made the trail harder)

Image
just some trail..

the liberty was the other one there.. and "mindy's mud" did not agree with it much.. however it was almost stock height and went though everything... despite the 2nd picture it only had very minor damage..

i think i might get a "wrangler recovery unit" sticker for my back windows...
Image

almost every part of the trail was this tight... notice the rock to the left and tree to the right... i didn't get pictures of any hard stuff because i was driving and couldn't do both :(.. my dad is riding shot gun but isn't too camera handy..

lunch on the 2nd day..

if there is a jeep jamboree near your area you DEFINITELY need to do it.. "mall rated" hahahhahaha

Congratulations on the run. Great pics. Wish I could find a bunch of Jeep enthusiasts here in Minnesota to do a run like this.

2006 KJ,

Did you have your ESP on or off most of the time? Just curious. I've had mixed results with mine. Still haven't decided which is best, but I've come to the conclusion that it depends on the terrain. Mud=ESP OFF, Sand=ESP ON and a heavy foot on the accelerator. What part of PA are you in?

Oh, and great pics. I'm jealous...... :)

im in western PA near the ohio boarder about an hour south of erie... where are you at??? and if your in PA you BETTER be at the jamboree next year it was great. All the off roading I've done so far has been in 4-lo which automatically shuts off the ESP. which really helps to clear out the tires when your in mud.. or just need some extra wheels speed. Despite the horror stories i've never had any problems with my esp... perhaps i got lucky
