haha...no there's more of us. That was just a little exploring we were doing.

Today we met up with the rest of the convoy. Scott and his uncle John came up from Tenesse.

Looks like you've got quite a bit more on that roof rack than the 65 lbs the renegade bars are rated for. Any Problems? Are you even worried about it? I think I'm just goint to build some replacements for mine, I like the 2 inch tubing look, but need to carry more than 65 lbs. Anyways, great looking jeep!

I've made some minor mods to the rails. Basically, I've added extra supports under the front supports as well us under the b-post. I can walk on the rack with no problem. It is extremely solid. The rack is rated up to 250 lbs but I'm guessing we have only about 125lbs up there.

The metal rails are extremely strong. The weakest parts are the plastic pieces. So if you add some additional suppports just to relieve some of the tension from there you'll be fine.

Gemini bridges trail in Moab. The temperatures are hovering just over 100 deg farenheight. At the moment our A/C is not functioning and at 8 miles into the trail, we lost GPS navigation and 4 LO. For safety reasons, a decision was made to turn around as our water supply was getting used up very quickly.

It turned out to be screwed up ABS/Traction control sensor. For some reason, whenever we were in 4LO it kept locking up the drivers front wheel. It was impossible to drive. By the looks of it, it was just to much sand in the area. We drove out in 4HI.
