Had AllJ do a full Frankenlift with OME struts and shocks, and put on a lightly used (2000 miles) set of Rubicon wheels and 245/75 16 MT/Rs.

Wife still wants a new bumper (either a Rock Lizard or an ARB) to further get away from the Soccer Mom vibe.

Love the ride, from our limited experience with it so far I do think you feel the little bumps more, but there is zero bounce and almost no body roll. We could do without the noise from the MT/Rs (although I'm sure we can get used to it). We kept the old wheels and tires for long road trips.

Looks great! Do I see tow hooks under your front bumper?

So the factory tow hooks fit behind the 'non-tow hook' bumper fascia without modifications? I have an '07 limited and want to install the hooks but thought I would have to cut those little rectangular sections out or get the 'toe hook fascia'.

PS: Congrats on the great wife. I've got one of those too!

On the '06 Limited, yes. It's a little cramped getting the socket on the outside bolts under the trim, but it's not difficult. I don't think there were any changes from '06 to '07, so you should be good to go.

...and thanks Bill! Hope to see you and your CRD out there soon.

Russ
