Well, here is our jeep after it's transformation. Special thanks to Marty and Troy at Rock Lizard for all their help.

It's funny how impressed I am by that thing. Troy and I were all up close and personal with that jeep for about 40hrs, and with all the long days and late nights, we never really got to see the finished product in the daylight, and Chase didn't have the Moabs/MTR's around for install until he got back to Wyoming, so these pictures are the first time seeing it completed in the daylight. WOW!!! Completely amazing seeing the change from stock to now. Those wheels came out great, awesome job. It's almost a shame that we are going to have to hit the trails and scratch up all that fresh paint.:D

Guys, thank you for your business, and especially your patience. I know it's hard to sit around waiting several full days for us to finish the work, and the little hangups I'm sure got a little frustrating, but I know you guys already mentioned how happy you are with the end result. Some of the stuff was training for Troy, and even for me, and some of the new improvements to some of the products and the custom roof rails took up a lot of time, but I think everything came out the way it was planned. I've already contacted John with Jeep Junkie Magazine, so we need to hit the trails and get some action shots in the real near future.

Tom, I'll get some pictures up real soon of the custom roof rails I did up for Chase's KJ.

Rock Lizard: I REALLY dig those roof rails. It's hard to tell from these pics, but are there cross rails built in as well? Maybe they're just part of the rack.

His are just the main rails, the crossbars you see are from the rack.

I'll post about the roof rails in the 4x4 forum so I don't take from his picture thread.

Thanks for all the compliments guys, we're really happy with the way the military theme turned out. We are thinking about going further by debadging it, and adding serial numbers, US ARMY, etc. Since old military vehicles often had instructions painted on them (Do not overfill, tire pressure, etc.) we may put OPEN TIRE CARRIER FIRST under the rear door handle to keep people from banging the tailgate on the carrier.

The moabs were off an '06 Rubicon, so they were in really good shape, other than some very minor rock rash. All I did was scour them with a scotch brite pad, and then clean them REALLY well with soap and water. Then I painted them with Rustoleum hammered paint. This stuff is really durable, and helps hide dings and scratches. I used dark bronze, but it also comes in black (which really looks dark gray), and a variety of other colors. I'll just touch them up as the paint gets scraped off on rocks, and hopefully keep them looking decent.
