You get sweet fish on your license plate? All I get is a tree.. (oregon).. That picture is a lot nicer! Love the color even more.. I really wish I could get good pictures of my Liberty but I need to get it somewhere exciting besides my apartment parking lot (or my work parking lot)... *sigh* |

Virginia has wildlife conservation plates. cost a bit more each year but the difference goes to help the critters. they have bass, trout, etc. on the plates. you choose which one and your money goes to that specific species in theory anyway. |

In Arkansas for years ours were white background, blue Arkansas, and red 123 ABC. Starting a year or so ago we got blue-ish backgrounds with a diamond in the middle and some other stuff on them. We've got the largest active diamond mine in the country so I guess that's why its on our new plates. We, also have wilderness plates that benefit the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission with animals like ducks, trout, bass, hummingbirds, turkeys, and elk on them. They're just a little more costly! |

Those are standard Thule LB50 load bars with Thule 450 footpads. I wrapped foam pipe insulation from Home Depot around the square bars and used black Tie Wraps spaced to match the ridges on the roof line to hold the foam in place. The foam will help protect the kayak from the bare metal bar and as a plus it stopped the whistling on the highway from the square bars. |

Nice KJ. Just so you know the third picture is now the background for my computer! Gotta love this color on the kj. Sure wish Chrysler had not dropped the dark khaki. Although it does reduce any temptation to trade mine in. |

That's a fine-looking KJ you got there Dry Bones! Looks really familiar! Where do you kayak? We're always on the Chesapeake Bay or the Sound, but sometimes we come up and canoe in the James or Shenandoah.
