Is that in Colorado? Where are the rocks? :D J/K Anytime off the pavement and away from work is a good time. Good lookin' bunch of jeeps. Looks like you need a different bumper...or a ramp.:D

More pictures of St Vrain and Coney.

I covered the rear so I don't have as many pictures for this run as others in the past.

We encountered a guy that built an off-road vehicle overnight and it broke down on the trail backing up our group, about 4 ATV's, Wranglers, and some old Toyota's (1970's). It was a very busy trail.

These guys showed us what not to do when off-roading, when they finally arrived at the end of Middle St Vrain where we stopped for lunch. They were drinking on the trail and then, for no good reason, ran over two little trees. There was no point in saying anything to them since they were drinking and it would have gone in one ear, got drunk, and the leaked out the other ear.

TREAD SOFTLY!

I'm waiting for you to get your butt out here! Yes, a new bumper would have helped out...

Sorry I had to ruin your guys KJ turn out by wheeling an XJ, but can I still be part of the KJ family? lol My KJ is mainly my street rig for right now. If I haven't had any problems with it in about 30k I'm probably going to lift it a few inches. I'll take it on the trail then most likely.

Great PICS. I knew Coney would be a bit too much for Diminish. I sure do wish I could have done it, but there's always another time.

I think the only damage I had was some dings and scratches on the front diff and the t-case skid.

Wheel it if you got it. We're just glad to have you out there. Bring whatever you want.

Coney was a fun trail. I think the scrape on my bumper was the only damage we managed. Nothing a little touchup paint can't cure.

Hey man, check the local section regularly. It's way more fun (and safer) to do this stuff in a group. We'll definitely be headed out again the first weekend in November (maybe before that as well). We'll be doing something close to C. Springs most likely. Would love to have you come out.

Terrific picks of some good lookin' trucks in some gorgeous scenery!! I know I've been sayin' it in just about every post but seeing those light khaki Libs w/ lifts and MTRs is making me crazy waiting on my Frankenlift to arrive!

Livin' in Arizona it's hard to remember what the word 'lush' means. Thanks for sharing.

This is the third time that Ted's "rear end" has shown up in this thread. Is this getting a little weird for anybody else? :? (And for the record I think he looks more like a ballerina than a hood ornament.)

Sarah, great pics! I like that one of my KJ looking like its about to tip right over in the pond. :D
