well actually i hate to tell ya but someone else has some similar, but they look awesome

what are they made from? and how are they bolted up?

if it was up to your door handles, would the water not be sucked into your intake then?

ok besides that, then he would have had to atleast extend the breathers then wouldnt have he? seeing as water up to the door handle is above the diffs.

Also i think you need an ARB bumper, seems like from the pics, that poor stock one is taking a beating.

THX Nop, no water inside, KJs are quite sealed I've been passed water almost to the door handle and no water get inside, no problems with the motor or any other component, of course that was not a normal practice, here in GDL, there are some streets that get flooded when rains and one day some months ago I needed to pass instead of stay in the same position, otherwise I would lost my KJ by the water, I was really surprised about that!!!

Ha ha ha, it is OK (just a joke), similar is not the same. Questions? hummm, it is secret... And yes, these rock sliders are great!!, less pieces, less weight , more durable (really hard test were done!!), and best of all... I didn't lost any ground clearance as the others

But in my PERSONAL opinion, it is not necessary that much, nor a Rubicon have that kind of protection why a KJ will need that for? only if you think skiing in the rocks with your KJ... Alot of new guys want to get through water really fast and it ends up causing their front end to drop under the surface of the water sucking some through the intake. The proper way is to slowly approach, and enter slowly, and the front end will rise, almost like boat. I read it in a magazine with a stock FJ cruiser (it may have even been a Toyota advertisement, a cool one at that). They called it creating a bow wave (something like that) where the vehicle would litterly keep the water from entering the intake, and capsizing the top of the hood. Intersting info to read....I did a horrible job of describing it but you get the point. Awesome pics radame....the terrain down there looks amazing. Looks like a really good time wheeling.

Yes, you are rigth in your last 2 post, thanks for clarify FastTRX!! _UnLiMiTeD_ First, I know how to cross the water in slow motion to avoid such a thing as water inside the air intake as FastTRX mentioned 2nd, yes, the lift helps, I have 3.25" lift with OME HD and some other stuff, untill I install my custom front bumper 3rd, I mentioned, level NEAR to the door handle, not level to the door handle, if you want to kow the aprox. height the water was covering all the grille minus 2 or 3 inches (aprox) As I told you that was an emergency and is not a normal practice, BUT I was really surprised for that, maybe if I try to do that again on purpose I will have problems, anyway...that time I took my KJ to the mechanic for a general revision, no problems found so far, luky me...
