Four KJs from Lost KJ West went to Calico this past Saturday. Here are the pics. You can read the trail report here: http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=26209 Wally starting us off. If you look in the background you can see the broken XJ. ![]() One of the many tight spots that can eat body panels. ![]() Wally leading the way. ![]() Wally makes it look easy. ![]() But I need a strap. ![]() ![]() Steve and Nolan having no problems. I want lockers too! ![]() ![]() ![]() One of the many mines in the area. ![]() Wally making another obstacle look easy. ![]() ![]() That's as far as I got. ![]() Some of the left over asphalt ![]() Now I'm strapped and ready to be pulled. ![]() ![]() Steve shows me how it's done. ![]() Nolan showing off with his tire in the air. ![]() ![]() Final obstacle. Nolan is standing above the rock formation that Wally and I scraped. Unfortunately no pictures of him or myself. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That's about the time-frame it began to be frequently used. Asphalt started to be used for roadways in the late 1800s however some form of Asphalt has been around for thousands of years. |

I must be one of the worlds biggest PU$$Y I look at those big rocks and shudder to think of off road racing stripes. Thats why I want to Rhino Line or Line-X, both bumpers, all 4 fenders and the belt line down to the Rocker panels as thick as I can make it ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Yeah that is a really useful addition for the KJ. Both Nolan and Steve's trutracs worked great too but the rear locker is probably the easiest and best place to start with. If you ever find your way out here run the Calico trails, you won't regret it. Wally is more than willing to answer questions about his KJ but he doesn't brag about it. He knows the trails out here really well, good person to learn from if you ever get the chance to wheel with him. |
