I love the CRD. It chugs along like a little tractor, won't stop pulling on the hills, and gets really good fuel mileage (considering the overall heft). I was doing pavement/sand/pavement/sand/pavement/sand/pavement/sand for an entire week, so I only took my tire pressure down to 18. It did fine on the sand at that level, and it was bearable (although really squishy) on the pavement. This thing handles every type of sand I could find to stick 'er in. I could not be happier with this truck. It's a great little road-trip machine that'll take you into some really unique places after you're done driving on the road. A couple of differences between the Renegade and Sport are the roof rails. The Renegade roof rails look thicker...although they have a lower weight rating (go figure). They also typically have most of the Mopar skids on the bottom and most of them have four roof-lights, but you could purchase a Rene without the lights too. The Renes have different wheels too. You definitely have a Sport. Who did you purchase from that made such a clerical error on the invoice? Pict of Liberty Renegade

Hmmm. I've never been able to deal with the stealer in Salem. I drove up to NW Jeep in Beaverton and bought mine there. |

Yep, the CRD is a 4-cyl, 2.8l Common Rail turbo diesel. Great little motor! |
