Hmmm....well, not bad so far. Definitely feel taller with more pliable sidewall than the stock goodyear SRA's I had on my freedom edition wheels. I was impressed with the road noise, or lack thereof. It really is pretty darn quiet, and just a hair above the stockers. Actually my roof basket drowns it all out.

The tire is General Grabber AT2, 245/75-16E, on Rubicon MOABS

Looks? Well, I like them. The overall package is unique, which I appreciate. The theme I am going for with this is Black and Grey only, nothing to distract the eye like badges, amber colors, etc. I've tinted the tails as well, which completes the look.

The tire itself looks superb! I LOVE the stance of my jeep now.....its amazing what some meatier tires and wheels can do for it. The track is wider and far more aggressive.

Looks really good, Moabs/mostly debadged, getting there for sure! It would look good with the wheels same as the flares! I am still thinking about painting mine.

Wow that looks amazing!! I pick up my moabs tomorrow and I'll probably go with the general grabbers for tires, now that i know what they look like on the moabs. Except I'm definitely going to paint mine, becasue there's to many people with those good looking silver moabs on their jeeps. I guess i will have to be different.

Yeah, but if I paint them and scratch them, Ill be pissed off. I don't think you can paint them with them still on the rim, either, and I just paid to have them mounted and balanced. Itll have to wait if I ever do!@

you can paint them with tires on the rim, just have to mask it off really good, I painted my spare wheel due to some rash and did pretty good. Whole write up over on ROF on painting Moabs..

Gosh I cant wait to get the moabs on mine.

Im just going to polish them really good, no painting for me.

Of course alot of people run MOABS on lost, but Ive never seen a liberty in my neck of the woods that has them. Heck, Ive yet to see a liberty with a lift in my neck of the woods.. Most modding Ive seen is 245/70/16 tires.

Thats what I love about the liberty.. Its not a cookie cutter Jeep. Sure I could buy an XJ or TJ and lift it, but i see those all the time. 8)

My favorite thing about the Liberty, as well, is that it isn't a cookie-cutter Jeep. You can mod the heck out of these things and it doesn't look like anything else on the road. Even your modded out Wranglers all look the same once they have big tires/wheels, off road bumpers, etc.

They are far more comfortable and civilized than a Wrangler, but tougher and more rugged and "dirty-able" than a Grand Cherokee. Heck, the GC might as well be called a Mercedes. Not as nice, but same price. hahaha

So far no, Ive heard only the scrape of the fog light door on the drivers side at full lock. If the suspension gets loaded while turning, it rubs some, but I am happy that I dont have to pound pinch welds

The slack@sses at Sears could get all other four mounted, but for some reason could not get the fifth one mounted. Said they tried and tried, but their air compressor isnt strong enough to fill it up quickly before it gets out. Lame. I have to go get them to try again or get my money back. Meanwhile, its sitting in the back seat

Being a Newbie to the Jeep scene since last spring, I love the look of your ride!!! I like the plain wheels rather than the idea of painting. I agree, a gloss would look pretty good though.

Once again, I am a Newbie, so I have a few quick questions for you.........what are MOABS, are they just the stock wheels from a Rubicon? Also, would your new Grabbers 245/75/16E's fit the stock Liberty wheels or would a person have to downsize? I assume the AT's are for year round use? I love the look, such a simple thing as replacing tires when needed to really beef up the look of the KJ. I am considering the Grabbers when my current tires need replacing. Thanks for your help!!

No worries, happy to help, and I think you will find most of the guys on here are. I've learned TONS here.

I like the wheels as they are now. I got complimented on the combination. The pics look good, but man it looks sooo much better in person. I am thoroughly happy with these tires. They are heavy though, and I have noticed a drop in MPG and power, but nothing I can't live with.

Moabs are the name of the wheels used on the Rubicon. They are very popular with JK's because they fit just fine but are much wider, and give y ou that spread out, aggressive stance. They also say "jeep" on the center cap, and that is always nice. Just a nice, wide, aggressive wheel.

Those tires will fit the wheel just fine, however the question is would the tires fit under your Lib? If you havent lifted, I would say no. Downsize to 70 series...but even then I don't know. I am getting a little bit of rubbing now at full lock. I am going to pound my pinch welds this weekend and heatgun the fog light door. Easy fixes.

These are pretty much the most aggressive all terrain Ive seen. A lot of AT's just look like pissed off passenger tires. Grabbers look similar to BFG AT KO's, but I have heard bad things about them, and they certainly are overpriced. YOu can get these for about half as much.

Other than that, good luck and message with any questions you might have.
