Man there so cute when there young and small, cant wait to see it grow up :wink:

Not a big fan of the kahki but with the right amount of black accents it can be rather cool looking color!!

I wasn't a fan of the khaki at first, but when I saw this one in person I fell in love with it, and got it. I think the color of the top has a lot to do with it, and all of the khaki jeeps ive seen have had awfully colored hard tops on them (awful being not black)

First things to get put on will be a hard top for the (hopefully) oncoming winter, then probably some AEV bridger wheels in argent, a tummy tuck (if i can do that without a BL, probably gonna need to do an SYE), and maybe an OME lift but I will be using it as a DD so a lift kit etc. may not be in my best interest but if I feel it necessary I might make just enough changes to put on some 33" tires and switch to 4.56 gearing.

edit: Oh, and the neighborhood is both nice and bad because its a bunch of second home owners or retired old people who never do anything and are typically grumpy at everyone else in the area. Summit county, CO is by far my favorite place in the country so far that I've lived, its nice to be able to look up and know where you are jsut by the mountains around you. And at any point youre 5-15 minutes from 4 of the top 20 ski resorts in the country and 30 minutes from the middle of nowhere

you just defined my paradise....minus the old grumpy farts!!! I will remember Summit, CO when the time comes...hopefully about 15 years from now...must be Karma...I live in Summit county now....

I too live in summit county, CO, i have summit as my location because thats what everyone refers to it as around here. The actual town is called Frisco, CO. People call it summit (like thats what town theyre from) because there are many towns in close proximity of abotu 5-10 miles between towns (frisco, silverthorne, dillon, breckenridge, copper mountain, keystone, summit cove, blue river etc...)

sweet pics
skip the AEV wheels and go right in for the TT
you will not need an sye but you will need a new "CV" style drive shaft ,3 U-Joints
remember that with the TT that is like a 2" suspension lift so if you get the OME stuff and some 32's
your break over will be that same as a guy running 3.5" lift and 33's

Also the TT is a great thing to do. I run a 3-1/2" with 33's and a TT and I am very pleased with how capable the dang thing is. It never stops amazing me.

That's a tidy TJ you got there, good buy.

Now onto the real impressive stuff is that suburb you live in, man o man would I love to live in that house across the road from your place. Not to mention the stone looking house across from it, your place must be wonderfull & the back drop is sensational. Quite different to boring old Hornsby Heights :lol:

Like Jason said...Rubis dont use a SYE like the other TJs, all you need is a CV DS. Most TTs require a BL and it dont hurt to get a BL. I went with the 1.25" JKS flavor BL and I love it!!! Had it for a year and not a single problem so far
