Looks good! Do you plan on adding lights to the brush guard? So do you wheel this beast, or are the skinks for the steps only. |

It doesn't get wheeled. It's my daily driver. It just sees ice, snow, ski trips, going out to the farm, etc. The skinks are to get my skis on and off the rack much easier. The grip on them is really good even when wet or covered in snow. Anyone in a car that opens their door into me is really going to be sorry. I would highly recommend the line-x on them if you don't slide on the rocks. The things are amazingly stout. The guys at line-x installed them for me, and are going to add some piaa 5250 lights to it. I'm going to have them line-x the door strip. I'm also getting a renegade light bar, and I've got a 160 amp alternator to go into it too. Just need to pick up a red top. |

I am confused. You have a Frankenlift Premium II and Skids and you dont wheel it??? *scratches head* lot of money for no use. |

My 6 year old suspension had started sagging, and it was time to replace the shocks and struts again. Can you think of a better excuse to go ahead and lift it? Also, it's actually built pretty well for my use. The extra clearance and travel is helpful out at the range on the hilly gravel roads, and when I'm out at my parents' farm. The stock skids are enough for my use, so I only added the super skinks so I would have something sturdy enough to stand on with ski boots on. Plus the skinks look really cool. |

ooouu..Looks good!! Hey I think I just might get those skinks when I ditch the factory renegade nerfs. Any loss of ground clearance with those? (that's my big headache with the current OEM bars) Also did you have to apply a special grip paint or did they come textured like that? Any addtl details..let me know thanks ![]() |

I like how the bar on top of the brush guard is almost the same shape as the air dam on the hood. |

Any addtl details..let me know thanks ![]() Didn't really lose any ground clearance since they are tucked up so high. The texture is from the Line-X. They can vary the texture too. Really good grip on the Line-X. Sport wrote: I like how the bar on top of the brush guard is almost the same shape as the air dam on the hood. It ended up being a very close match. It looks better in real life than my pitiful phone pictures. Really looks like it was designed to go with the hood when looking at it for real. riptricket wrote: how long ago did you order your super skinks and when did they finally arrive at your house?
LOOKS AWESOME! The super skinks took about 1 1/2 months to come in. Well worth the wait. |
