![]() This area is located about 12 miles southwest of Jacksonville, Illinois. Between Winchester and Bluffs in Scott county. Just south of I72. I had to be tugged out of a couple of bad spots during the day. We couldn't get a good angle on the pull from the front. It was well over 45 degrees to the side. So when the tug happened, it pulled the tow hooks sideways instead of forward. The first tug bent the bumper bar and the 2nd tug pulled the left hook completely through the bumper bar. So, if you're gonna pull from front tow hooks make sure you have a better angle. These were my $12 JCWhitney hooks but not even the Mopar hooks would have held in this instance. BWT...check out the trail ride forums for links to more pictures. KJKev |

Hey Kevin! no love for a fellow LOST member's CJ-7? ![]() we had a blast out there at Camp Eddie... I know you wanted us to run the KJ out there... but you know i love the sound of the AMC 360 in this CJ... ![]() ![]() ![]() here i am getting ready to give KJ Kev a little hand at the mud hole... nothing to be ashamed of as this hole swallowed a TJ with OX lockers and 33" tires the previous weekend... ![]() ![]() Mark |
