well when the tags expired i thought it would be best for me to buy reg plates incase i sold it so i could just transfer them to the new car if i sell it..

Really? I thought ALL Renegades came from the factory without fender flares.

I see that his KJ doesn't have them, but 02-04 Renegades didn't come with flares from the factory anyway. they were a dealer-installed option...in the US at least. roughly 75% of the Renegades I see here in the states have no front flares.

uhh ok i see ur being a smart booty and thats fine, to whoever your trying to impress but all liberties have fender flares on them. And he has shown pics from before when his kj HAD them on.
