nope, not sarcasm. I'd love to give that a try. Is there anything I have to do to waterproof the Liberty before tackling a small stream like that? How about disconnecting the accessory belt until reaching the other bank, is that necessary? BTW, I wouldn't even attempt that until I had rock rails, skid plates, a 2.5" lift, some MTR's wrapped around my wheels, front and rear recovery points, and somebody else there to pull my butt out when I get stuck. Anyway, sweet rig, when I'm finished building my liberty, it's going to look alot like that, minus the wheels and light bar. Later. -Nate |

Sapien, You don't need to water proof for a water crossing that size. We did a few like that in Moab. No problems. You are right about the armor, rails, and lift but you can still do those rocks with the stock tires. I did Moab rocks with my SR/A's with no problem. Besides, if you destroy the stocks, you have an excuse to get those MTR's. If you need recovery points, I have a rear tow hook I can sell you. . |

Not a drop came inside my 2005 Sport 4X4, and though some water came into the air filter housing, it has drainage holes, so there were just a few drops inside when I opened it !! Go out, have fun. And yes, always bring someone who can pull you out of trouble if the need arises. |

crazy... did you keep going in after that picture? Looks like you were still heading deeper... |

Yep, I kept going. You can see more pictures following the link below. And no, it was not deeper, but hell, I felt like throwing some ballast (me included!) out of the window. Thrilling, though |
