the bumper looks great no matter what, i was afraid that it would look somewhat out of place on an unlifted jeep, kinda disproportional... like if you put a 2.5 inch lift on and leave the stock tires |

Jsc7002 is right. The older KJ's don't have the bulge at the bottom of the door. I prefer that they stick out more since I need to climb on them with my icey ski boots to get to the ski rack. |

It's just the plastic trim that attaches to the bottom of the door sills. I'd love if someone had a picture of an 05/06 with them off. I'm curious what if it'll just look like an 04 without them. Dan |

The metal may be the same shape but, it's got some ugly holes in it. Not sure it's completely painted, either. |

mine (04) had that one little strip and I pulled it off at 2000 miles to keep the crap from collecting up in there. I also at the same time undercoated up in the holes and painted it again to make sure so you could always do that. Of course I love tearing factory plastic crap off of mine and drilling holes in it
