The Horny Toad. I missed the part in science where the toads grew into lizards. or is that between the tadpole stage, and the toad stage? |

Phrynosoma/horned lizard is a genus of the Phrynosomatidae family of lizards and are more popularly called "horny toads" or "horned toads"...shoot my biologist/girlfriend even calls them that Ummm, in Arizona everything is thorned or spiny or "horny" including our toads....I think I fit in to one of those category's as well . |

Where at in AZ was this trip? I see the ponderosa pines in the pics, but dont recognize the area. In the 1stpic, i thought it was Crown King rd. at the lunch spot next to Castle Creek 1/2way up the backside. The pics next to the big sycamore are cool!!! |
