Post subject:  Exploring the Central Texas Hillcountry

After seeing Durangotangs incredible photos, I felt like getting my Nikon D100 out and going somewhere. My copilot, Scout, and I drove around parts of the Texas hill country near Lake Travis in Austin, TX just to see what we could see.

My aforementioned copilot, Scout, taking the liberty (no pun intended) of drooling all over my cabin space.

Jumped out of the Liberty and went right for a drink. Don't blame her in the 90+ degree weather we have in Texas.

Very nice! I was in the hill country for a motorcycle rally ten years ago and would like to go back some day...
