Took the jeep out with a buddy of mine up in Stokes State Forest today with my kayak. We explored a lot of the back country dirt roads and lakes and come across a lot of beautiful scenery and also some abandoned houses that we explored and got pictures of. Also while we were explorign the roads at one point I went to shift gears into third and all of a sudden my clutch pedal sunk to the floor and had no pressure. I was really worried because we were in the middle of no where. Somehow the clutch pedal disengaged from the linkage luckily we were able to fix it with a swiss army knife and some duct tape! Here are some pictures. Enjoy!

If I ever manage to get out east, I know where I'm going to go explore. The radio in that one house  wow! How crazy of a find is that?

Thanks guys I use a Nikon D60, photography is a bit of a hobby of mine. We found one lake that was of a decent size in the woods. Unfortunately there was no way to get the jeep back there so we bushwacked carrying the kayak about 200 yards, well worth it though we found some interesting things like beaver dams, cool cliffs, and some shallow water with large fish that appeared to be lake trout. Didn't bring my camera on the kayak, expensive camera on a kayak could have bad news written all over it lol.

I am going to be making a trip up to Stokes, any info you could give me about starting points or good trails would be much appreciated. I googled it but found very little.
