Post subject:  What I pull around behind the KJ

Been thinking of new topics etc for people to share and post so heres a new one
LETS SEE WHAT YOU DRAG AROUND BEHIND YOUR KJ

I bought this in 94 to haul "stuff", sleep in, haul Harleys (on rainy/snowey days) been to Fla. 7 times, Boston twice, Kentucky/Tenn. and all over Ohio. Also have a 4X8 enclosed thats an old UHaul and a 5X8 flatbed with 2 foot sideboards for hauling firewood and junk.

Anyways here you go, not a great shot,
BUT LETS SEE WHAT YOU PULL!

nice jeep Tom, I don't think I have ever seen a picture of it.

I used to haul a Yamaha waverunner when I lived in FL but I got rid of it.

Mine was black at one time  ,settled for black since it's very hard to find a orange trailer.

I wish I could have kept it,it would have come in handy a few times but at the time it was costing me $100 a month to even have it on a military base since the only legal place to park a trailer was the Rec storage area and had to pay to park it there  .

Dang a 100 a month to park it, they get you one way or the other don't they! If you had it now I would assume it would be full of GOODIES!!!

The only thing I have ever had behind my KJ was other jeeps, stuck or broken. Don't tow trailers or anything else. I save those jobs for the 74 F250 Ranger with the Ford 460 in it.

Tom, stick a couple of windows and a roof vent on that, build a bed inside and you got your mini camper. 8)

I have 3, do I win? :D

Hood297, that looks like a handful - how much does it weigh? Looks like you could use some weight distribution!

Dave, The boat and trailer weighs about 3500-3800lbs depending on fuel and water on board. Fortunately i rarely tow it, only before/after hurricanes, and for service. other than that it stays on the lift behind the house.

That an interesting boat trailer, I've never seen one with Coil springs, shocks, and a control arm.

That's about the same weight as my travel trailer, loaded - it handles amazingly very well with weight distribution and anti-sway.

Regarding the boat trailer, I've never seen one like it either - I will get a better picture of the suspension and see if I can find a make/model if anyone is interested! It's a very cushy ride for the boat.
