lol, wife and I went geocaching into Red Rock here in Las Vegas and as we were hiking around it started snowing. By the time we got done we had some snow accumulation on us, not on the ground though. Strangest thing is Friday it was 78, yesterday 52 |

Yeah, taken this morning. I cleaned the Jeep off yesterday morning so that's one day's worth. You can see total amounts all around it though. Been snowing since Thursday night / Friday morning. It's supposed to start clearing off today. |

It snowed 2 inches here in Reno 2 days ago. Melted the same day but it was awesome to see snow that early especially so much of it. |

This whole year has been pretty nice for us. Quite a bit of snow last spring and rain in the early summer, very few wildfires, NO campfire bans! And best of all, it brought us out of a 10 year drought. Hopefully we'll get enough snow this winter to fill the lakes and reservoirs next year. |

This year was a really really mild wildfire season for us as well. Hopefully we really get dumped on this winter and Tahoe fills up, along with all the other lakes and reservoirs out here. The more the better! |

Yep, just nothing but rain here all flippin' day. I lived in Casper for about 5 years and had a buddy telling me you guys were supposed to be getting 7-9". Did it come anywhere close or are Casper meteorologists still off? |

got about 4" of pure slush here last night. Makes for weird driving conditions. Had to be on the accelerator going down hill. |
