Post subject:  This is what sits in my backyard =)
This is my nieghbors Jeep truck that they refuse to sell to me :( A few years ago it was in great shape and they havent driven it since then. I would love to restore it but they refuse for some unknown reason. Also a few days ago i startedd to research winches and guess whats on the front of theres? A Warn on a custom bumper! I may just buy the bumper and warn off them and then do some major trimming,welding and modding to the front bumper which would be pretty fun :D :D. Just thought you guys would appreciate this :) ill post more pics later i couldnt get any good angles.

haha no unfortunately there dad passed about 10 years ago and he was planning on restoring that and a few other cars in a 5 car garage that he would add to our garage. he left his sons everything and they havent taken care of it or the mustang he left them. :?

My neighbors have a 65 mustang sitting in their back drive, been there at least 20 yrs, looks like fender bender to front. They keep it covered, but it's well on it's way and they won't sell...sad.

HOLY CRAP ZACK! I never saw a Jeep pickup with that little rust in Michigan 10 years ago!

I hate when people don't want to sell something, and would rather let it rot...it depresses me. I had a similar situation with my aunt and her '64 1/2 Mustang convertible...

Every year..."give ya $1500 for it" "NO WAY, that car is worth ten thousand if it's worth a penny!" "k, give ya 1800 for it" "no!"

This went on since I was about 14...then a couple years ago she moved to Florida...
I called her and said "So where's the Mustang?" "oh, I sold it to some guy" "how much?" "900"

Yeah, exactly.

are you serious.... i would have purchased a plane ticket to florida, got a rental, drove to her house, and when the door swung open, my fist would have swung forward. if she knew that you wanted that car, why sell it to some stranger??? she better leave you something goooooood in her will.

Eh, nothin worth having. she also had a Chrysler Town&Country wagon (86ish?) with a 2.2 turbo that I wanted.

I know where there are three at just like the one pictured, 2 red, 1 white... :( :( :( all slowing sinking deeper and deeper into thier own graves.
The guy has the same story always, going to fix them up and run them someday! Hes 83 now do you think he's ever going to do it , heck no... :twisted:

Oh well I will buy the roofs after he dies will be the only thing still there :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Gosh that would kill me! Pretty sure if they were my neighbors they would randomly disappear one day and that Jeep would be in my yard! 8) :lol:
