Looks great! I love black Renegades

How long have you had the wheels? I have those for my sportage & they started peeling & rusting w/ in 3 months...completely disgusting after a year. Cragar will not warranty the paint, unfortunately these particular wheels aren't factory powdercoated. The rust/flaking starts right around the inside edge of the "beadlock" rim. I hope you have better luck that I did.

This was after a few months, it only gets worse:

I have about 40K on the car only about 20 are mine, jeepster I don't think you know how bad I want to lift it and put some 245's on there. I can't because carmax said they would warrenty the jeep if the manufactures build level changed I have about 20k to go before the warretys out and I can get it off the ground haha. And as far as the rims go, i haven't had anyproblems besides the centercaps on the rear wheels getting a bit of rust but I think I might end up spraying those black anyway.

Wow to think I just typed all of that on my blackberry is making my fingers hurt more :(

It got washed quite a bit...maybe it's an Ohio thing? I couldn't believe how quickly they went bad. My centercaps held up nicely. The paint flaked as if it wasn't compatible w/ the primer, that was the problem.

With both of you having decent luck w/ them, makes me wonder if I got a bad batch. Who knows.

I wouldn't lift it until the warranty was up either. It still looks good as it sits, I could live w/ it for 20k more.
