Well, there were definitely some nicks and scratches to the paint... I finished the waxing and it helped a little, but right before I head overseas I'm going to take it to get professionally done and hopefully it'll take all of the scratches out. I'd do it tomorrow, but I know I'll just get it dirty again.
When I get back I might actually have her repainted. I'm thinking... Olive Drab.

I wonder if I can't get my hands on that nice military paint that doesn't scratch as easily - like the stuff on our HMMWVs.
if you really want scratch proof paint... i have your fix.
Our rubi was rolled over when we bought it... so we had to paint almost the entire thing (only thing not painted is the grille). We have a body shop and our paint rep gave us some experiemental PPG scratch proof paint (it's going to be in production for cement mixers/industrial machinery). we've wheel it a ton though tree's branches mud.. everything you can thing and it still looks perfect.. no washing swirls or fine branch scratches... nothing. havnt waxed it in over a year. dont know if they have it in olive drab but it would be perfect if they did!
