Good morning everyone, Well I never got around to showing everyone my pics when I went to Loop Road in the Everglades. If you like wildlife and are'nt afraid of being around 10 foot alligators 3 feet away from you then this is a nice experience. It is free and you spend hours seeing alligators, deers, fish, birds, snakes and even things you never thought you'd see... Hope you enjoy the pictures...

That is awesome. I was just down in Miami last weekend and we went out to the everglades to check out an airboat ride but they said because of the drought there is limited places to do it. It was my first time to FL. Place is awesome. |

Hmmmm, I noticed that you held a snake by the tail........but not a gator!  One of these days I'll have to meander down that way and have you show me around that place. I don't relish the idea of going to Miami though. That is the only place in Florida with more murders and shootings than Jacksonville. Needless to say I don't go to JAX after dark.
Nice pictures and it looks like a lot of fun!

Glad you guys like the pics... At the end of the trail they have an area where you need a permit for ORV (Off Road Vehicle). Vehicles must have a minimum of 9" wide tires to go in there and mostly all you see in there are Swamp Vehicles. The best swamp vehicle I saw out there is a Jeep Wrangler with massive tractor tires on it...

Looking at those gators made me hungry! Love gator tail and want to try the ribs but I can't find any around here. Terry |
