just in case it went over your head in the last pic post i made
just a fyi - autozone's spring compressor is crap atleast the one i borrowed was the teeth doodas that are supposed to go into the coil and grab it are too wide to even fit between the stock coils with them still assembled, and if you were to use them to compress - say OME HD's - you'd never get the teeth out so i ended up having to go down the street and borrow the stand alone spring compressor a friend of mine has - the kind with the wheel on top and the 3 catch doodas at the bottom and the 2 sliding plates you bolt the upper plate too, and that fkr kept wanting to buldge the spring one way or the other, i about lost my mind getting the front coil/struts assembled. The strut rod would catch on the bushing in the strut plate and start compressing the strut it almost made me wish i had let the shop down the street put the front in and align it for 180 bucks the crap i do to save 140 dollars the rear has probably settled i put about 400 miles on it with about 300-400 lbs of crap in the cargo area and with 300-400 lbs of crap in there it's sitting at 21.5 so it'll probably go back up to 22.5 if i take that weight out , the front is right at 22.2-22.5 unsettled - taking it to get aligned in the morning, other than the toe when turning it rides GREAT. After it being 18 inches front and rear i feel like it's on stilts |

looks good. yeah, those AZ compressors can be a bear, used them 3 times now, have to spread the coils majorly to get out. Almost impossible with 1 person, but I managed. Going with new wheels and tires or just bigger tires? |

nope it's not a franky, actually it's no kit in particular for the time being those weenie tires are going to stay on there, i've got alot of highway miles in the next few months so just gonna let that rubber wear i'll put tires on it same time i put new upper a's on it and something else to push it a little closer to 3.5 inches got it aligned earlier and the only thing they couldn't get green was the caster , i'll probably get them to try again in 1000 miles after it's settled a bit, maybe put some oversized bushings on it to get the caster in check if that's even applicable for the vehicle - thats what we had to do on our f250 power suck |

drove it just over 400 miles today, stopped off the side of the highway and checked my torques for about 200 miles it was wanting to vibrate and wiggle a bit, the inside of the front tires had started to cup from the worn out front suspension i was riding around on but they hadn't really gotten bad yet, i think i buffed the edges of the cupping enough on the highway today that it's calmed down cause it smoothed out pretty good on the way home rides gooooood felt familiar (not my first lifted vehicle by any stretch) but strange at the same time lookin down into most of the other jeeps on the road |
