I was hoping to have a new stihl MS 290 farm boss for the birthday, but unfortunately the money had to go to dive equipment for work..

I have the MS 270 (Wood Boss) with an 18“ bar, but I wouldn’t mind a backup saw such as the MS 290, plus it can accommodate for a 20” bar.

The 390 Pro can accommodate for up to a 25” bar. That would be my dream saw for cutting some of these huge Ponderosa Pines, Pinion, Douglas Firs, and Alligator Junipers. I don’t know if I’m man enough to handle the 390 Pro all day, but it would be perfect for those big trees. 8) There’s a lot of good firewood and lumber out there waiting for me.

Hood, the dive equipment will make you more money to buy an even bigger and badder saw(though the Farm Boss is a nice choice).

D.E.,it was either the 390(not Pro model) or the 360Pro.Went 360 Pro and love it.
The decompression valve is AWESOME!
If you guys get that excited about a chainsaw, you would pass out if you saw the rest of my Stihl arsenal. 8)

Do notI repeatDo notbuy any other piece of equipment other than Stihl.
I don't care what they tell ya.If you can't afford it,save up a lil longer.

Hey Jayme, can you send that pic (Last-week Air) to yer buddy Digger.Dang-it......

The camp is my property in Mt. Hermon La.
Of all the guys with camps around here, they all have camps south of Nawlins in the swamps and marsh.
I'm the only one who chose to go NORTH!!!Nowhere else in Luzianne you'll find a view like the one on Old Lake Rd. 8)

Yea,you can shoot a Tom,Jake,nelson,or Harry.I don't care as long as its not a Bub,Bill,or Uncle Roll'n.
