Hey guys, as some of you know, my KJ is a company car, so I really can't mod it much, and I am giving it back this spring, so there's not much point... Anyway, in the few times that I have gone offroad, this is what has happened! Mostly probably from the memorial day run... May not be able to see in the pic, but there is a rock stuck IN th underside of the passenger side A arm!

skid plates wouldn't have kept a rock out of your a-arm.

It's not really a problem anyway is it? My a-arm's full of rocks, mud, and bits of small animals. I generally just lever them out with a big old screwdriver or a cold chisel.

Doesn't look like you have the front suspension skid though, you might want to think about that since it's easy enough to take on or off as company lease conditions dictate.

I wouldn't even bother - its a company vehicle. If you have to pay some money for minor repairs then consider it an investment in your personal entertainment. But I doubt that your company will say anything at all unless your job is somehow tied to cars.

Oh I know the A arms are fare game for any rocks... that was more just trivial. It's the dented, rusty crossmember that I was pointing out more. If I was sure my NEXT company vehicle would be another KJ, then I'd get skids, but as it is I already have a set of Revos on rims I may have to sell off or something, so I'm not gonna invest anymore. More for other people's info.
