We planned an early Beach run then a trial run later in the day. The day was great till VMKJCRD went swimming in an about 100 feet long puddle that was more like a lake. He was good till about half way in his front end started to sink water was up to mid head line level. I thought we were going to have to fish him out. Them out of he slowly crawled out. His air filter was wet and little water in the box. So we headed out to change his oil and he all good. Video will be up soon but here are some beach pics. And when on the beach the patrol roller up with his KJ and we grabbed a photo with him.

What a fun run this past Monday. Finally got to use the permits we bought, and watch the sunrise.
Great pics Benny. The floor pump picture was classic. It would have taken you an hour per tire at that rate :-)r

I wish I had got that on video. I did not think Peter was going to go for it, then all of the sudden he was halfway across the 'lake' and then the sinking. But the CRD pulled him through the muck and he emerged on the other side. It was quite the scene!

Benny, when you were taking this pic, I thought the patroller was going to get stuck trying to get into the line up! he shoulda aired down if he was headed out.

Sorry you missed a good one. Next time you can try the little puddle first! AND it was BROMANTIC! :goink:

Yeah, I am so down for another run. Was fun to test the KJ's abilities on Monday, and it once again, surprised me. It made me want to mod mine even more. Snork? Locker? hmmmm.....what to do with that tax return!
I'm uploading the video, and hopefully it won't crash :dizzy: this time around. Fingers crossed.
Here's the few pics I got.

Great Vid!

The Crd scratched and clawed its way out of that deep water but it sure gave me a scare with all the water in my air box and filter. Imagine if i still had the OEM crd box? Things wouldnt be good.

Next time we go back there ill be trying that lake again...

The funny thing at the beach was watching the patrol man struggle to get his KJ next to ours and then after the picture asking if the libertys did fine in the sand. They do fine but he didnt air down.

Fun looking pics. I've gone a little hard core on you guys and traded my KJ for a JK. Last year I picked up a Rubicon Unlimited.
