Thought if there are any mountain bikers they might like to see this. Paint job took about a week and a half all together. Thanks to pixeldecals for the custom size renegade decals.

That is sweet I have been using mine to go biking since spring. Leaving for a long ride soon I have to take some pics. I just got a 2010 Specialized HardRock in April to replace my old bike. I like how your bike is silver too and matches your Jeep. Mine is red, I wanted black but black was out of stock in my frame size so I got red sice I like that too.

i see your from PA.. if you ever want to do an absolutely crazy mtn bike ride do the 'rimrock ramble' hiking trail up by the kinzua dam... its actually loop of the morrison trail system. it is NUTS. Its about a ten mile ride... 6 of that is crazy crazy down hill and 3 of that is just as crazy up hill... then you get some flat level on the ridge of the mtn. before you get back to your car. i ride a cannondale super V 1000 with a lefty.

I too just started this spring. I've had this bike since I was about 14 but never rode it much. It's a cheap department store bike so I'm hoping to upgrade to something nicer once money allows.

I just rebuilt this bike and painted it myself. 2005 Cannondale Chase. It's my dirt jump mountain bike. Just need some new rims and it's finished. My other habit besides Jeeps is mountain biking and that can get expensive just as easily too.

Who cares about the bike, I want to see more photos of that car in the background. Is that yours?

I have a Ironhorse Warrior 3.0. It's my first exspensive bike. I don't know much about Mtn bikes, but it had all the stuff I decided I needed to have

I don't get out on real trails to often, but I have a few miles of rideable desert wash behind my house and try to log a few miles every week it is under 100 degrees (read: haven't been on it in a few months).

Not a huge fan of the yellow accents but that's a nice bike... If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay?

Now I've upgraded to a Iron Horse Warrior with some mild stuff. We have a bunch of fun rides around here for groups of friends and some single track trails. Got my butt kicked by the first single track I tried. After it's not 100 outside I'll give 'er a go again.

And the Thule Spare me rack works GREAT for stock wheels and 245/75/16's. I think yours barely fitting has something to do with the cragers along with the tires. Something seems so right about a jeep with the MTB on it.

i dont mind.. because i think it was a steal!!! $500... got'er off craigslist. i looked it up and new it was a little over $3000... although that was 8 years ago but all the components are still top of the line by todays standards.. all but the shifter's (in grip not the finger levers)

THat Cannondale is a very nice bike even at 8 years old it still may be better than my very nice but entry level Specialazed Hard Rock. looks like you have disc brakes too thats a nice upgrade.

Cannondales's were made in Bedford, PA now the bike shop tells me that production on Cannondale bikes under 2 grand is going to China... I think that is kinda sad but then mine was built in China too. Well the Chinese have so many bikes, it seems they know how to build them well but I don't like seeing American Jobs go away.

I need to get some pics of my set up and upload them. last time I was out and took the camera I started taking pic on the way back then I got stuck in a big storm and had to ride miles in it with the camera in a ziplok bag inside my trunk bag.

I'm all over this thread! I've been biking things like crazy out here in Utah, any bikers from Utah in here?

Image
I bought this '11 Specialized Hardrock this year, so far put about 100 miles on it  Upgraded the brakes to some Tektro Auriga hydraulic brakes, and looking to upgrade to fork soon.

This is up at Sundance ski resort, excellent downhill :D

^^ That's one bad thing about the KK having a hidden spare, no extra mounting point! :x oh, well. I can usually fit 3-5 bikes in the back (with the seats folded and the front wheel dismounted of course).

Here's how I usually store my bike (for easy access for any quick ride I might want to do  )

Sorry about the crappy quality, I work nights so night pics is all I can muster

Hahaha road travel is inevitable sometimes, I was thinking of going on a 100 miler around Bear Lake this weekend, but I'm ditching out to hit some single track up at The Canyons ski resort in Park City. I'm all for riding anywhere, but when it comes down to it, Mountain > Road :D
