I had rained a bit only during the last few days....so you can imagine after many days of rain non-stop.
My KJ has stock suspension ...(and i can tell you that am gonna order the Frankenklift !!!)
Tires are Duratrac.

Tires are getting well clogged but still tracting well, so far...

First deep tracks: i went to soft, too scared for my underneath sterring, and got stucked:

A few meters further, tracks even deeper and weter: 2nd towing:

but trying hard to get out !!
Image

..and yes, the windows were in deed closed... :)

So now, do you think it is low ? it was like a finger print in the mud:
Image

and it gets deeper and deeper and wetter !!!
Image

ready to get towned out:

a bit of stretching,

and bite of local delicatessen

and ready for a few more meters..

The rescue is arriving....

The KJ is heavy but the power and grip of the Range really impressive:

Blocked path...i feel glad!

A friend in Mitsu in action:
Image

Ah...finally quiet !!
Image

untill a loud Klong under the front end, stucked on a rock...hated that noise !

Lunch time !!

A very nice steep hill, i was so glad that the Range passed it finally at the 5th attempt
Image
and the smoke at behind the Mitsu is tires bursting on the rocks (2nd attempt was the good one)
Image
and no pic, but i passed the first time smoothly :-)r

Fantastic scenery:

no one took the left hand side lane...

end of the day:

hope it was not too long.
..that day convinced me to lift the KJ !!

Nice pictures. I hope your friends weren't too annoyed at having to tow you so often.

Don't forget that a suspension lift by itself won't increase the ground clearance beneath your differential. For that, you need a taller tire that the lift kit makes possible. Good luck with your mods.

i actually had a feeling while running between cars hooks that my buddies were looking strangly at me  But hey someone needs to entertain the crowed :jester:

Actually, i just ordered a Frankenlift, as you say, it wont increase the clerance under the differential but at least will give more space under the Mopar skid plates.
i will then upgrade to taller tires when my Duratracs will be dead (won't be too lng at the pace... :SOMBRERO: )

Actually was worries me a lot are the front arms...looking at any KJ, this is the lowest point (except the ones that went to Dana...)

Wonderful pictures of the KJ and really beautiful scenery. Your CRD looks like mine's long lost Swiss cousin :)
