Since many have copied my cut off bumper style I thought it was time for a change
So started to think of ideas, and modify or change up things some
so started here this afternoon
Image
some more tearing
Image

Ok now what the heck do I do to be a little different
then I remembered that a few weeks back I came home one day

to find this waiting for me!
Image
Image
Hey maybe I could do something with that
So after a few minutes of work ( and BugginKJs strong arms) we ended up with this
Image
didn't have the tire carrier painted yet so ended this way for the night
Image

somewhere in Colorado there is a blue KJ missing his rear bumper :ROTFL:
Thanks Marty !

can I get some close ups of your handles? Pretty neat idea and pretty easy to do.

I was afraid to open this post after thinking about your recent medical troubles! Then I remembered about the bumper and still shielded my eyes as the pics started loading. The new bumper looks great! And I'm assuming you must've been feeling better if you were able to install it!

Not to steal Tom's thunder, but did the leg work for him.
Here's a thread on drilling them, pics of Fulltimer's handles on page 2&3.

Oh, uhm, nice rear Tom :jester: I need something like that for my Tahoe!

Looks ok  I do really think it would look entirely better on a Stone White KJ and a jerry can holder on the right side to balance it out. I have heard of such vehicle just north of Toledo. :jester:
