What do you think? First time I've had it off the road too! Real happy with the light bar. Wasn't as much a pain in the A... as I heard to install. Had front windows tinted to match the rears. Removed the vent shades that had been installed way to high. Installed my washer bottle. Used factory location. Painted the bottle black. Also cleaned, prepped and painted the axles, control arms, calipers, drums, etc with black caliper paint. To keep things looking fresh. Next on the list is LTT's CAI, after that it's hard to pick which thing to do next. LOL BEFORE: ![]() AFTER: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Guy I bought it from gave me new ones. Debating about just leaving them off all together or if I use the new ones scuffing them an painting them flat black before installing. |

since the badges are the gel-type and install like a decal, how would you paint them? |

So my thought was to use some scotch brite pads or fine sandpaper and scuff the clear on them so paint or bedliner could adhere well. I've used krylon fusion satin and flat black before on body moldings badges etc and it works an holds up really well if the services are prepped properly. It's made for plastics as well. I did the bed rails and factory fender flares when I had my F150 and it held up to car washes and two winters no problem. Probably is still holding up but I sold the truck so can't confirm. |

It's right near were my folks live in McHenry the trails I beleve are what someone bulit at some point for there quads as allot of this area is or was farm land. The area I'm flexing is actually the culvert of a neighborhood to be which backs up to farm and wet lands. I go there for photos and it's a good spot to get off the road lightly as long as respect the ground your on. There's some ruts, few hills, etc. I'll post up some shots of my 150 in same place. The trails for the quads for the most part are wide enough for a Jeep kind of tight turns for a full size truck though. But is what you'd expect a ATV trail to look like! |

Oh. Mine don't have the clear film over the faces of them. Maybe guy removed them. I just have the paperbacking on them. Guess if use some masking tape to keep a straight level line could install one part at a time. |

Very nice! I'm always nervous when it comes to drilling holes, so I'm putting the light bar off for a while lol... Looks good with the tints, first thing I did when I bought mine Only I got the back windows tinted to make it a bit darker and the two front are around 20%.

Looks great! To cange the color of the decals without removing them AND able to go back to stock easily, use plasti-dip. Google "plasti-dip badges". Super easy. |
