Well, I'm not sure if this is the ultimate insult or not, but I just had to post it. :-)r

Excuse the picture quality, as it was taken from a Treo (1.3 megapixel).

Enjoy

Hey Tim, looks pretty secure to me. :D I would have at least parked it on the curb.
I'd shop there.
Tim are you ready for next Sunday?

Thats funny, our mall has a white jeep limited with lights on the top also.

I guess they need the 4wd up here in the north!

The ultimate insult because it's a Liberty with mall logo on it...or because it says Security on it?? I personally think its a great idea for mall patrol. Being in law enforcement myself....I WISH I had a KJ for patrol very badly....the Impala and Crown Vic just don't cut it in the winter months.....and especially when the bad guys decide to start hopping curbs and driving through parks and stuff.

I say, all the power to the Mall Patrol dude.....hes a lucky guy to get a sweet ride like that to patrol in. Not to mention, as I said being in Law Enforcement myself, I have a lot of respect for Mall Security Officers, they put up with a huge load of Bull S**t every day from Je*k O*f patrons all the time. There just guys trying to do their job and protect those of you that go to the property all the time.

Lucky guy to have that KJ....looks awesome if you ask me.

As far as the insult I reffered to, I was being a bit sarcastic, and also pointing out that that particular KJ will be stuck in a mall parking lot for the rest of it's days :( Such a shame.

BTW, it was a female security officer driving it. I was going to tell her about the club, and ask if I could get a better shot, but just before I took this pic, she went into a store on a call (she was moving rather quickly, so I assume something was going on). I didn't think it was the best time to bug her, so I just snapped a pic from my Jeep, and moved on.

Yeah, I didn't get offended or anything...it may have seemed like it.. sorry bro  I just go and help alot of Security people in my work....and I hear all the stories. Yeah that KJ will probably be staying put for awhile....but at least they recognized its a vehicle that will last and is practical for the job.....hopping curbs...long idling....24 hour driving...stop and go....I'm sure it will serve proudly in its new profession of law enforcement.

Saw one like that at Tyson's Corner Mall when I was up there Christmas shopping. Great pick for a security patrol vehicle!

Back in IL the mall security folks drove those as well. I thought it was a good idea too. The mall that was by my house was much funner though in a Libby because they rarely plowed half of the lot (great for doughnuts and snow pile climbing). They should get even smarter and put plows on the front so they can make the security people plow too.

Security people plowing? Negative....thats not a protective / law enforcement role....sorry not bashing your thoughts bro.....just I'm sure anyone here in law enforcement or security would have the same thoughts....I totally agree that its a great idea to have the KJ as a patrol vehicle though.. :D

Man...I gotta get in touch with Baltimore PD...ask them how they convinced their fleet manager to get KJ's!! We could only be so lucky
