Ok, from the posts, I think maybe my KJ is not H2O friendly?? Well, I washed her up good....took like 6 hours on Sunday. But just so I know, why is water bad??....I see lots of people doing that. what kind of damage will it do to Bullet?

well actually the KJ is probably one of the better designed vehicles for water.

All of your electricals are fairly well sealed

Your intake is nice and high/equipped with a splash sheild

Your vent points are decently high on the axles, tranny, and t-case-but can easily be extended...

The worst case scenario is water entering your intake system...if water gets in there, the engine's vacuum will suck it into the combustion chamber...if you remember high school physics, liquids don't compress the way gases do...but you probably already geussed this.

Another bad thing is water getting into your tranny/diffs/transfer case...this can be solved with quality gaskets and extending the vent tubes...

If you practice good maintenence and drive sensibly you won't hav a problem with water crossings up to your headlights.

Some of these things include but are not limited to:

changing fluids (engine oil, gear oil, tranny fluid, transfer case) after each water crossing. Remember-if a fluid has a milky appearance to it-there's water in there-change it ASAP!

Drive slow when entering and going through water, the front of your vehicle will create a wake which may allow water to enter the intake system much more easily. 5 miles per hour is probably good.

Avoid wheelspin when tires are under water-wet rubber cuts like a hot knife through butter.

Check water depth ahead of time-don't go deeper then your lowest vent tube (probably the transmission).

After wheeling, wash the vehicle thoroughly...inspect the vehicle soon afterwards.

If your radiator is plugged up with mud (the vehicle will over shortly after mudding with no leak apparent)-DO NOT USE A PRESSURE WASHER TO CLEAN IT OUT!!!!! A pressure washer will ruin your radiator. First-remove the grill shell (4 T15 Torx bolts IIRC) and wet the mud down with a garden hose using as little water pressure as possible. Then use compressed air to blow out as much of the mud as possible. Then rinse the radiator with more low pressure water. Repeat these steps untill the water is clear.

Anything these days has too much electrical stuff in it. If your still running normal, your doing fine. I miss the old CJ days though - just a basic fuse panel on the '74 CJ6, and NO fuses at all on the '62 Willys CJ6 I had.

You should get an old MB, CJ, or YJ to flat tow with the KJ since you have all that cool terrain to play in out there.
