Nice! Looks like you are running about the same lift setup as I am. Daystar 2.5" front and OME HD coils out back. What/who's shocks and struts are you running? Jason |

Rancho strut's and shock's - - All J's 'CRD' Frankenlift (the closest they have until someone makes real front springs) |

I called All J's and said I had a CRD - they said the best combo they had was the Daystar front spacer - rear OME springs and Rancho struts and shocks. - it's not the Frankenlift they sell for the gasser's. The gas Frankenlift has front OME springs - a small spacer and the strut is assembled. This is a seperate Daystar frontend kit - you do the strut disassembly and reassembly (I tried 2 small spring compressors and ended up taking it to a shop - the springs are stout). The rear is the same at the gas Frankenlift. I think several CRD's have this combination W3CSX mentioned it in this post and Boxhead in the CRD forum. |

This sounds about right. You are running the same as Boxhead and I. I love this combo. 0311_DoC, I helped put this combo together. If you are looking for something similar to the Franken lift you can't go wrong. Quinn will get you all the necessary parts. Also when OME comes out with beefier spring's all you will have to do is swap springs and the 2.5" spacer for the 1.5" (for that matter just cut down the ones you have). Then you will have a Franken lift. This combo will get you in the air now. An will allow you to expand it later for a better lift. Without all the expense of having to replace the whole thing when real springs become available. Jason |
