Hmm, just found this thread. Are those the dunes near Rocky Point? If so, a friend of mine from Phoenix goes there every Memorial Day (US) for the weekend and wheels the dunes. He has a John Deere green 1960 Willys Wagon. Nice pics by the way. Looks like fun! |

But there are more, and bigger sand dunes near Rocky point. I think "Altar Desert dune" are the largest extension of sand dunes y North America. |

I figured if you went there you might have seen my buddy's ride. She's a rare bird, and at the risk of hijacking this thread, here's a pic.
