As i am still looking for the origin of the vibrations coming from the transmission, i placed my GoPro underneath the Libbie while driving in snowy road...interesting but cant see any vibrations. Quite funny view of the drive shat and the transmission... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eLKZfwW ... tube_gdata |

Topan, I didn't watch the whole thing, but at 0:32 when you come to a stop, you can see the diff dipping. I think you should check the rear balljoint, it's probably worn. Very common on KJ's. |

Its about time anyway. Tommudd, I was not even aware that there were LCAs at the rear ... I thought there were LCA only on independant suspensions. no? |

Technicaly, the LCA and UCA on the front are 'wishbones' so we have a double wishbone setup like most (race) cars have too On the rear we call the green things control arms too. After 2004 DC changed the control arms from square (like in the pic) to round. ![]() Do not look at the green donuts on top of the coils Here's a bunch of pics. http://www.ifsjeepers.com/phpBB3/viewto ... f=24&t=129 |

Hi, I am also getting all the bushes changed on my rear A frame on Friday. Seams like that might be the cause of my vibration between 1800/2000rpm, we will see.... In any case when I checked they were all well warn out. On a different note: Would this help: http://jeepinbyal.com/prod-Link_Extension-463.aspx it's diff extention for "This bracket set is to extend the mount on the top of the rear axel for a 4" lift" from JBA even if the back has only one up 3.5 inc? I am sttting at 22inc. I have 2 extra top isolators, OME 948 & OME 132L just curiosity, Fil. |
