Stage 1 of my project has been completed and I couldn't be more happy!!! The truck is completely wrapped in 3M Carbon Fiber vinyl. The grille, door trim and trunk trim are all done in 3M Matte Black vinyl. I also put a set of 22" Vossen wheels on it and wrapped the lip and center cap in Carbon Fiber.

More pictures to come as I get some photo shoots planned so stay tuned!

Stage 2 coming soon

Usually opposed to Jeeps being on 22's, but this is an exception. I don't like it, I love it!!!
Great job. :-)

I don't have the exact numbers because I'm still working on some things but lets just say, NOT a cheap project  I'm working with a buddy of mine who owns a vehicle wrap shop so he hooked it up on the price but we talked about and if you were to walk in off the street and want this done to your Liberty you would be in the hole about $3000/$3500. The Carbon Fiber vinyl is expensive to begin with and on top of that we completely dissembled the entire truck and wrapped everything separately. Each door, quarter panel, bumper, fender flare, hood, trunk and roof were wrapped separately with all the edges rolled. There was a lot of attention to detail put into this.

That's pretty cool! Job well done.

How do you get that vinil on so smooth? I can't even put on a LOST decal without air bubbles... :banghead:

Just gotta work it (that's what she said) :ROTFL: it takes a lot of patience, a good application squeegee and a heat gun.

That's awesome! I thought about vinyl wrapping my KJ at one point, but I'd have to get all the hail dings out first... so no dice

i was going to wrap my KJ Olive Drab... then i figured when i had everything taken off it.. and cleaned .. i'd just spray it :)

if my jeep was black originally i prob. would've wrapped it.. but i had to do door jams and everything so spraying was a lot easier then wrapping.

Wow. That is definitely the best looking street Jeep I've ever seen. Did you use photoshop on any of those pictures or is that how it actually looks?

Thank you to everyone for all the kind words! All of your response is exactly why I did this! I wanted it to be different and shocking :frankie:

Steve, the guy who wrapped my truck, wrapped his son's Explorer Sport Trac in Military Green with Carbon Fiber trim. It looks sick. His son is in the military and did it for him as a surprise during one of his tours.

There is no photoshop in any of my pictures. A little auto enhance with iPhoto and that's it. It looks really wicked when the sun hits it. At night it looks matte black until you get close to it.

I like it. Can you just hand wash it like normal?

First time I've seen your new KK...is it a 4x4?
