Hey all, first time posting in here. I've been collecting parts for a few months and finally had some extra time to install everything. I spent the weekend putting on my first lift with my future father in law. Also just put new Duratracs 245/75/16 on the 08' KK today too! Other than that just have plastidipped all of the badges and put in the weathertech floormats. Next on the list are skid plates and tow hooks. Here are some cell phone pics. :JEEPIN:

Looking good. Should be getting mine pretty soon also. Having any of the traction control/ESP issues after the lift? Gotta get me some plasti dip also.

Looks great!

I've plastidipped some of my badges, the others I've failed at because when I peel it it comes off the badge :x

Thanks, no ESP issues at all. A few squeaks here and there, but hopefully that'll go away when once it settles in.

Jeep looks great! B&W always look nice together

I plastidip'd my badges wheels and grill [stuff is addicting!]

hoping soon to get a lift installed but I have other ideas in mind before I go that route
want to throw a new exhaust system in it and get it tuned to pull a few more horses out of the engine anything to make that pedal seem like its used for something :ROTFL:

Update 5/5.
Plasti-dipped the hood like the renegade/arctic. Probably going to spray bedliner on top of it tomorrow for a better (still removable) finish. :JEEPIN:

Looks good! I want to do that to mine, but probably with a decal. The guy that letters our trucks at work can do it, but I'm not sure if I want to go matte or glossy.

That looks good. I'm interested to see how it holds up. Much cheaper than the $300 mopar wants for the decal. Give us an update in a few weeks.

I would recommend spraying some dip on something you don't care to damage and then bedliner it to see if the solvents that might be in the bedliner spray doesn't eat away the plasti dip and ruin your paintjob.

If you have already taken precautions then more power to ya! I cant wait to see the results

just tossing my :2cents:

The daystar spacer lift with skyjacker H7071 shocks in the back.

Waiting for the bedliner to dry right now, we'll see how it turns out. Any suggestions on how to get an even coat for the last spray?

Also, scheduled a weekend trip to Silver Lake sand dunes!!

Final pics are below. Sprayed bed liner over the plasti-dip today. Turned out nice, edges are pretty clean, and the finish has the textured look to it. I like it for the $13 spent.

did the bedliner have UV protectant in it? if not it's going to get chalky and fade in the sun.

looks great now though!

Complete rookie here, hopefully I can figure how to post pics soon! How did you get the rounded corners at the front end? Did you tape them off that way or cut them rounded? Also, how is it holding up? THanks!
