Post subject:  LOST NE Snow Run turned Mud Run

So we decided to go out for an early-spring snow run. But the weather decided to act more like late spring, so we went mudding:

Pete in the Mud Pit

Wayne playing "King of the Mountain", Phil's CRD.

Image
Now Wayne's playing Monster Truck on Pete's old Fiero (not really)

Image
Me (Jeff) on the powerlines. Yes it's that narrow, yes we got a lot of pinstriping. This trail actually goes between the uprights of the powerlines.

Image
Wayne making rooster tails

Image
Pete about to start the climb, Tim at the top

Image
Wayne winning "Most Mud" contest.

Rest of the photos are here:

Wherever your hosting these is just not getting the job done. Tried to load for 45 minutes and still nothing. Maybe throw them up on your CarDomain site?

Great shots. Looks like it was a good day out! The posts worked fine for me, just took half a minute.

Cool pictures, looks like you guys had a great time. I didn't have any problem with the pictures loading.

Yeah, it's not so much a host as "my desktop connected via DSL" so give it a little break :-P

Maybe I should have just posted the link and not the individual photos. I think I will put them up on cardomain, too, but this was easy, and it seems fast for me. It's just not going to be consistent.

Nice. Wish we would have had some of that left around here. Unfortunately it all soaked up into the ground and left us with pretty much nothing. That's what we get for 140+ days w/o rain.

Sorry. Must just be my computer and I don't know how to fix it. For some reason everyone can see these but me :?:

My system just acts like it's loading them, then just hangs - almost like I'm missing some kind of plug-in software update. :(

It could be that the webserver is running on port 8000 instead of the normal 80. Does the link to more photos work?

No, it shows the progress bar making it to about half way, then it just stops. I let it try for my lunch hour, and still did not work. It must be my server here at work or something...

It's doing the same thing to me too AllJeep. I wonder if it's having trouble pulling the images through the firewall. Post the picts on cardomain if you can. I'd love to see 'em!

I tried at home on my personal laptop, same thing - nothing. Again here today - nothing...

THANKS!!! I'm finally able to see and am no longer bummed out! I think my favorite is the one from inside the Khaki Jeep looking down, because it's as close to the feel of being there as you can get - good perspective of area.

That would be mine. I stopped at the top and took it, then when I got to the bottom, I opened my door and took a picture of Pete (silver KJ), who was in the same spot as I was when I took the first pic. Kinda gives a little perspective as to where I was. Glad you enjoyed them.
