Edit: Well after an eventful week I decided to clear bookmarks and found this old thread again. A kid in my graduating class(of 2012 ^_^) decided to run a stop sign after our graduation practice...and here's the result. His car was....doomed. Jeep stayed on and still ran like a champ, so I drove her a bit off to the side to allow traffic to pass, my airbags didn't go off though :). I was going to sell it that day but ohwell, still pretty much getting sold, just getting a little more cash in my pocket haha. Oh and I took all the mods I had done out the day before as I was going to sell it...what luck.

Well, I've been driving this amazing KJ for nearly a year now and being 17 I can't help but want to share my pride and joy. I haven't been able to do much considering I'm only 17 and I don't get paid a considerable amount, but I'm proud :).

30k HID's, No they aren't blinding(They've been aimed) and they provide a slight increase in visibility compared to the crappy arctic white Nokya's I had before. I love how they look and I live near very well lit streets. Oh, I've driven by multiple cops and haven't even had a glance thrown my way :).

Thanks. I've got a lot planned but I'm unsure of the order.

Thanks! To be honest the K&N wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I thoroughly enjoy hearing that sucking sound whenever I get on it. I was also looking at a Magnaflow catback but decided I wouldn't have the cash anytime soon :5SHOTS:, so I ordered a Magnaflow race muffler. I just want a tad bit more aggressive sound.

K&N CAIs are good at making noise and the noise they make, the extra hot air they suck in OH and the extra dirt allowed in but little else
Buying just a muffler with 2.5 inch openings and having it installed instead of a cat back will save dollars as well. No gaining anything with a full cat back
Just some ways to save money for more important things

Appreciate the input, though I do love my K&N >.<. I'm way to into the aesthetics of my jeep, I suppose.

also you have no cargo room with that big sub box. 2 12's is over kill in a KJ a single 10, of 12 inch is just the right size for the KJ.

Whatever floats your boat.
If you like it then doesn't matter if it helps or hurts.
Carry on

Lmao that made me laugh . There's room for tools that i deem handy :), other than that it was always an empty space. I only blast a few new tunes after I've left my neighborhood :goink:.

I am a respectful teenager!

Edit: my lovely white box came today and I'm at the shop getting it put on :D

My k and n fipk gave the kj alot better throttle response and some pep. If you spend a couple extra bucks you can have the same temps around the filter as it is outside. Its how i have mine setup and it definitely was worth the 200, but then again i went plastics as to not soak all the heat with a metal tube.

I've drivin the beast for ~2 years or so, got my license as a sophomore and i Just graduated HS. I'll sure as hell miss it, and I'm considering finding out where its stored so I can a few more pics for memories. Just not feasible in terms of gas as I'm moving onto college this year, though I doubt the mustang will be much better.

Nice KJ, it's good to see another teenager around here. I too have two 12" subs so not much room at all but that's why I got a roof rack! Any plans on lifting it or more future mods?

Ouch, that sucks! I had my pickup smashed by someone under similar circumstances years ago. What are you going to get to replace the Liberty
