Post subject:  mystery part, need identification

Hello, RE: Mystery Part. I would really appreciate the name of this part, or where this part fits. I took a 2003 KJ 2.4 engine apart to take the head to the machine shop for a valve job. I have rebuilt dozens of engines, but this is my first Jeep 2.4. I took lots of pictures and I made notes and I stacked the parts I removed in groups. I found this part in the pile of intake manifold parts. I can't figure out where it goes. I don't even know for sure if this part fits my engine or it just fell off the shelf. The part is about 7" long piece of angle iron and has two round bolt mount holes and two long slots for perhaps wire cable clamps. The part is covered with engine oil and dust from being inside the engine compartment, but not baked varnished oil from being inside the engine. The backside is relatively clean from being tucked into an inside corner.

I think I have only ever seen one 2.4L in the liberty in my life but all the diagrams I can find don't show any such bracket. http://www.wholesalemopar.com/parts_catalog.html Here is the website that I use to figure out parts that I just can't seem to figure out.
